I’m totally doing this. I’m going to start it Jan. 01 and document 2012. It’ll be awesome.A “Sky Scarf” documents the weather outside your window.
Each day you will knit a stripe in colors that match the sky. It will be lovely to see our different climates create different scarves! I started mine in the beginning of April in Oakland, CA and you can see my progress in the photo at left. This pattern makes a 5-foot scarf over the course of one year.
I will be making this for sure! I think I will dye up some lovely shades of blue soon.
What a fabulous idea! I might try this next year, once I’m over all the Christmas knitting I have overcommitted myself to ;)
